Regular Exercise
Being physically active will reduce our risks of developing the nations number 1 and number 5 killers, heart disease and stroke.
American Heart Association recommendation for exercise is a pretty easy one to remember: thirty minutes, 5 times a week. Benefits are also seen if the thirty minutes is split up into 10-minute segments. This will improve overall cardiovascular health.
Remember activity counts such as gardening or walking the dog.
Something is better than nothing. No matter where you are, just start. Do not let an all or nothing mindset discourage you from beginning to being active
